Welp. I was so proud to be a COVID virgin. My husband and I got tested because we've been feeling like crap and, lo and behold, he's positive and I'm "inconclusive" but I guess, given the circumstances, I'm most likely also positive.
So, we're COVID virgins no more. 🥺
@borghal I believe that there are plenty of people who are asymptomatic. There’s no guarantee that anyone would not be exposed to Covid ever. I suppose in the future, the chances of getting Covid would be similar to getting a cold or flu..
@borghal a club we recently joined too. Sigh. The exhausted brain fog can last a long while; take it easy and go slow.
This is a shitty virus, and it's mopping up the last few of us super careful folks because it's just impossible to avoid it when nobody else takes precautions now or isolates when ill. But at least a first infection is better than a second... or fourth or fifth for some. Hopefully no lasting impacts for you both.
