Cheers to 200 episodes!

We’re watching Cheers on Peacock, where this episode is labeled as S9E8 (in two parts.) It originally aired on November 8th, 1990, which is why Peacock has it on that spot.

The format was a bit awkward, with John McLaughlin moderating a panel with most of the cast and crew of the show.

It was good to see Shelley Long after all these years! Though I still get the feeling she doesn’t feel particularly loved by the rest of the cast.

Roger Rees (Robin Colcord) and Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith Sternin) were also on the panel, but they didn’t get to talk, and that’s a shame. I wanted to hear what Bebe had to say about Lilith and Frasier.

As usual with these types of specials, the most exciting thing is seeing the characters’ evolution through the years. How they all got older and gained weight. When you see them week after week (like it was back in the day) or day after day (like I do today), it’s hard to notice the slow change.
